Embrace Holistic Wellness with Psilocybin TherapyIf you’re seeking new and researched ways to enhance your mental health and well-being, our Holistic Wellness circle might be able to guide you. We’re committed to providing all the available resources and effective referrals that pertain to your mental health when you feel you’ve already tried everything or perhaps you might have been told by a mental health practitioner that you are “treatment resistant” for depression or another mental health concern. We integrate a collection of effective collaborative modalities such as
- Yoga informed psychotherapy, (Schmalzl & Sullivan, 2022)
- Polyvagal nerve breathwork, Dr. Stephan W. Porges, PhD
- Holotropic breathwork, Dr. Stanislov Grof, MDs.
- Psilocybin therapy through the Special Access Program
- MDMA therapy through the Special Access Program
These are not novel treatments, they have been used for centuries dating back as far as 9000 B.C.. They have undergone ongoing research in Canada and results are promising in treating conditions such as trauma, c-PTSD, PTSD, end of life anxiety and depression, combining traditional and emerging therapeutic methods for a comprehensive approach.
We are on the front-line of research and legalization
Dr. Zafire Fierro, a clinical psychologist, is actively participating in workshops focused on the therapeutic use of psilocybin. Her involvement underscores her dedication to exploring how this emerging therapy can benefit those struggling with mental health issues.
By attending these sessions, Dr. Fierro supports the movement towards the legalization and regulation of psilocybin, advocating for its potential to provide relief from trauma, depression, and end-of-life distress. Her commitment highlights the importance of integrating innovative treatments to enhance overall well-being.
Who is this for?
As you know this approach is for individuals considered to be “treatment resistant” to SSRI’s or anxiolytics (antidepressant and anxiety reducing pharmaceuticals), ‘goal set’ talk and clinically structured therapy (CBT, DBT, ACT, CPT, IFS, EFT, etc..). Research has also included ‘end of life’ anxiety and depression to be successful in easing fear and distress around death.
