Dakota is dedicated to helping her clients reshape their life narratives, empowering them to grow into their authentic selves while navigating life’s challenges with resilience and autonomy. As a qualifying Psychotherapist registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, she brings a compassionate and person-centered approach to therapy.
Holding a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology and Sociology from King’s University College (Western University), Dakota is currently completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. With over five years of experience in social services, harm reduction, substance use, justice-involved populations, and crisis management, she combines her extensive knowledge with genuine empathy.
In her sessions, Dakota tailors her approach to each client’s unique needs, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as narrative therapy, solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed care. Her mission is to guide clients through their personal journeys, fostering strength, resilience, and the skills needed to thrive while empowering them to become the best versions of themselves.
