I’m Ericka; since I was a child, I was attracted to fostering the well-being of others, understanding their emotions and entering their worlds. I was born and raised in Mexico City. I fell in love with psychology during high school when a passionate psychologist told me about her work. I felt inspired by the possibility of having a profession that could directly and effectively benefit others. I got a B.Sc. in Psychology and various specialties, diplomas, workshops, and courses in different Psychology fields (organizational, assessment, coaching and therapy). I’ve been working in this exciting environment for more than 25 years.

I firmly believe that to help others, one must first help oneself. Attending psychotherapy has helped me overcome personal problems, strengthen my self-esteem, reduce anxiety, acquire coping mechanisms, see blind spots more clearly and be a better version of myself; it has been critical in improving my therapeutic skills.

My goal is to help my clients to heal and find solutions when life becomes stressful, challenging and wounding, and do it in a safe, warm, and supportive space. I can provide help in both English and Spanish.

If you’re going through a hard time, remember there’s no need to do it alone. We will go at your pace until you can overcome it.
